Bouchercon (pronounced bough’ chur con) World Mystery Convention is an annual event run by Fans, for Fans.

• A Legacy Since 1970 – Bouchercon has been the world’s leading crime fiction convention for more than 50 years, attracting top authors, publishers, and fans from around the globe.
• Named After a Mystery Icon – The convention honours Anthony Boucher, a pioneering mystery writer, editor and critic who helped shape the genre.
• Global Appeal – Bouchercon has been hosted in cities across the US, Canada and the UK, drawing attendees from all over the world.
• A Launchpad for Bestsellers – The Event hosts many crime fiction superstars and rising stars, including past Guests of Honour like Lee Child, Ann Cleeves, and Michael Connelly.
• Supporting Literacy and Charity – Bouchercon 2026 will support the Further Education Society of Alberta (FESA), whose mission is to strengthen communities, families and individuals through literacy and learning by advocating, collaborating and removing barriers.
