Double check your information before completing your registration transaction. Your email address must be correct, or you will not receive your Confirmation Email or any updates.

Do you want to use your pseudonym? Enter your pseudonym only in the Pseudonym field on the registration form. You can use your pseudonym for your name badge and the Attendee List, but do not include it in either of the ‘Name’ fields on the registration form.

Your confirmation email. After you register, you will receive two emails from support@exposent.com: a receipt and a Confirmation email. They both contain information that’s important to you. The Confirmation email contains the weblinks and information to reserve your discounted hotel room along with the important Bouchercon policies you’ll need for the convention.

Check your spam folder and add support@exposent.com to your trusted senders. If you haven’t received these two emails, please contact Registration2026@bouchercon.com

Can’t finalize your transaction? 

Ensure you’ve filled out all the mandatory fields on the registration form, and that your contact information is the same as the information associated with your credit card.

Are you receiving an error message when you enter your postal code? 

Try entering your postal code like this: 

1. Take just the digits from the postal code, for example M4B 1B3 → use 413.
2. Add two zeros at the end to make it 5 digits and enter: 41300.  This will satisfy the 5-digit U.S. ZIP requirement, and Stripe (the company that handles the financial transaction) can still process the transaction.
3. If you’re still having difficulty, clear all the information in your cart (click on the cart icon at the top right side of the form, and follow the instructions to delete all existing information.) When you have “0” items in your cart, try entering everything again. 

Are you having difficulty reserving a hotel room in the Bouchercon 2026 discounted room block? Please be patient when using the hotel weblinks. Demand has been extremely high, and some dates are already sold out. Be flexible. Try entering different dates. Contact the hotel directly for issues with loyalty plans and specific information about the hotel.
