Bouchercon 2026 Auctions

The Silent Auction will run from Thursday morning until Saturday afternoon.
The Live Auction will be conducted on Saturday evening.
In all cases proceeds will be donated to Bouchercon 2026’s partner charity, Further Education Society of Alberta (FESA). FESA’s mission is to strengthen communities, families, and individuals through literacy and learning by advocating, collaborating, and removing barriers.

Donations:

Please consider supporting our Bouchercon charity by offering an auction donation. To propose a donation, complete the form below. If your proposal is approved, you will receive notification and additional instructions.

Items of interest in the past have included:

  • A social event with an author, for example breakfast or drinks
  • Character name in an upcoming book
  • Themed gift baskets
  • A book club appearance via Skype/Zoom
  • Collections of books and/or movie tie—ins
  • Quality art or craft items

Border Crossing Issues:

Please be aware that people bidding on your donated items may be transporting their items over an International border to return home. For instance, attendees visiting from the United States will need to comply with requirements of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

As a general rule it is best not to include any meat products, fresh fruits, or fresh vegetables in your donated items. Condiments, vinegars, oils, packaged spices, honey, candies, coffee, and tea are generally admissible. Alcohol is allowed but only in limited quantities, so safest to avoid.
